Senior Night
Marsalous Johnson #31
Playoffs

Hey Gang! Is it cold enough for you ?

Yes, it is football weather, so let's jump in and get going.

Senior Night
It is here, the final regular season home game for those seniors who have given it their all in football. Parents will stand behind their kid and be proud that each one of their own has played the game.

To some across this land, it is their last game period. I told everybody that the season will fly by.

The Smyrna High School Bulldogs, which is the school that I film for is 7-2, so the season has flown by. Remember when you win it rolls by quickly. When you are loosing it feels like you are pushing a car uphill.

Marsalous Johnson #31
Coach Fulmer, coach of the Tennessee Volunteers said that Marsalous would be one of the deep return men for the Vols tomorrow night.

We send out a huge good luck and we are proud of you.

Go Vols !!!

Playoffs
We have a lot on the line tonight as Smyrna takes on Lebanon.

This will decide whether we host a home game or not.

It is the difference between the #2 spot and #3.

That's A Wrap
I have been so swamped at work and it has jerked the life out of me.

I usually get this way toward the end of each football season.

Good Luck to the Dogs.

Thanks for dropping by and if you see me at the game give a shout.

God Bless and Take Care

A whole lot of recruiting left
Coaches Coach and Players Play
The Chop is headed to the Pound!

Stork, what is up and where in the world have you ben ??????

Sorry for the dely. Work, Football and being a dad, have drained my batteries.

Enough of the complaining and excuses, let's jump in and talk about football.

A whole lot of recruiting left
Everybody starts to get nervous about this time of the year when it comes to recruiting.

I rarely get worried or nervous about the subject. There are way too many days left and a lot of football left to play. In November, there are a lot of coaches that will be leaving either by choice or by performance. That will change the recruiting environment and philosophy for each college program.
There is a list of kids that will not pass the ACT or SAT. There is a list of kids who will become tired of playing the game and just want to do something else. If I knew what was going to happen I would tell you but I don’t. I do know this; colleges change their minds on what they need everyday. When kids change their minds, the college then has to adjust and recruit to their needs.

Please be patient kids and parents, we still have a lot of time to worry. (I don’t know why you worry to begin with its not going to change the outcome one bit) If I knew that the man who worries the most wins, then I would know a lot of people that would not be the losers they are. Get it!!!!!!!!

Coaches Coach and Players Play
Why we play the big games and what fuels the athlete.

Coaches who love to coach, enjoy the rush it gives them of strategically moving the players into position to score or stop their opponent. Coaching is a mind game. Yes, it has a little to do with the rah rah speech before the big game, but when you cut through it all the coach loves to execute the X’ s and O’s of the game.

A trick play is not designed to make the fans go crazy when it works. The play is designed to fool the opponent and hopefully pick up huge yardage or even score. The going crazy part happens when it works that is Uncle MO working. Players Play because of the rush it gives them doing their job and dominating each play.

We as adults do the same. Companies draw up certain sales proposals to get the business and sales people execute the plan. Scoring a touchdown or making a huge defensive play that turns the game around is just as exciting when you take the sale away from the competition. It rocks the blood.

The Chop is headed to the Pound!
Ok, everybody knows this is the game. The spear comes to the pound.

Riverdale is still Riverdale.

They have changed their offense, they run a spread wing T. I don’t care if they run the stack eye, the 5wide spread or the option it is still Riverdale.

This is going to be a great game. It will not be a blow out; I think it will roll right down to the buzzer. We have talked about it since last year; it has had more cellular minute’s gabbed wireless than any other game up this point in Rutherford County. It is going to be crazy.

The best part for me is that I will be capturing it all on video. I love to film these games, it is what we as videographers live for. The link is attached below for anybody who would like to listen. Enough about it the game kicks off at 7:30 central standard time.

That's A Wrap
I just wanted to say thanks to all the emails and calls I get.

You the people are what keep me going when things are busy. I am sorry I have not been able to write a new article these past weeks, it is tough to keep it all going.

This website, the internet and email has allowed me to have some wonderful relationships. This website has helped a lot of kids further their education and given them the opportunity to chase dreams.

God has blessed me by letting this site exist. Thanks again to all of you for the positive support you give.

Enough for this week, I will be high above the press box tonight with the best view in the house (which is behind the lens). When you arrive at the game give a shout and we will see what happens tonight between the Warriors and the Bulldogs

God Bless and Take Care
